Senior Women's
The women’s team celebrated their first victory this today with a dominant performance, overcoming miserable weather earlier in the day which made us doubt on whether the game would happen. Once play began, the team was unstoppable, restricting the opposition to 6/77 and reaching 0/78 halfway through the 13th over. Nu was the star with the bat, delivering her best performance to date, displaying confidence and precision. In the field, Burke was a standout, contributing crucial saves and sharp reflexes that kept the pressure on the opposition. Meanwhile, Radders and Crabby both had unforgettable moments, claiming their first-ever wickets with disciplined and determined bowling. Their contributions were met with huge celebrations from the girls. It’s clear the squad is hitting its stride, improving each week and building momentum. Our next game is at home on Sunday at 1:30, and we’d love to see supporters there to cheer us on for what we hope will be our second consecutive win!

Rookies
BUCC Rookies won the toss and elected to bat first. Some positive and confident batting with good running between the wickets led the BUCC Rookies to setting a 179 run target. Notable contributions from Pradhan, Suendermann and Hall all scoring in the 30’s.
Again the BUCC Rookies bowling was disciplined and accurate, managing to limit the Le Page Rookies to 58 runs. Notable contributions from Pradhan, Bam and Cocking all taking 3 wicket hauls.
If you add the penalty runs for outs to the score, the BUCC Rookies managed a mammoth 149 run win.
Well done Team

As mentioned last week, the 12As had a fantastic start to their clash against Brighton Union, but the job was only half done…. Leading by 31 after week 1, the boys bowled and fielded extremely well as a unit, bowling Brighton Union out, with a lead of only 18. Skipper Russell ploughed the first ball of our batting for 4, showing the lads the way. Ollie McArthur carried on his good form and the side was able to record their first win of the season, which is a super reward for effort

Another tough game against the top of the table, but the kids held in there to play a much stronger second day than the first.
Archie, Henry and Tom W added class to our line up. We also welcomed Leighton W to our team and Mikey H back after a long break! The team fielded extremely well, getting 7 wickets on day 2, with them shared nicely among the team!
Congratulations to Archie who hit a cracking 6 into oval 2!
Jack L batted like a champ and got 13 from 16 (sr 81%)
Similarly, Ethan Jowett batted strongly and was our only player not out at the inning’s end.

The Fourth XI traveled to take on Dingley and returned home with a commanding victory. Bowling first, the team showcased excellent discipline and control, restricting Dingley to just 98 runs.
The standout performance came from G Aloi, who tore through the opposition with a remarkable 5/13, proving unplayable throughout his spell. He was well-supported by P Desent (2/13) and B Downes (2/14), who ensured the pressure remained constant. A special highlight of the innings was junior player Harry Guttman making his senior debut memorable by taking his first wicket – finishing with figures of 1/5 from 3 overs.
In reply, the chase was handled with ease. J Aloi continued his stellar form, notching up another unbeaten half-century to lead the side to victory without the loss of a wicket.
